-this is not a sequel nor is it a prequel... this happened somewhere in the story.. (so a mesoquel perhaps? /whacked for using a scientific term).. I don't really know where to insert this, maybe after they had some kind of a truce... And I don't think I can really call this a 'deleted scene' since it's as long as, or even longer than the original story. lol

-Kanon's POV
I was surprised when someone hit my shoulder with a book. I looked over my shoulder and saw that it was my friend, Rika.
"Hey, ouch! Why did you do that?" I told her as I caress my shoulder.
"Kanon-chan, do you know what I think?"
"Of course not. Except that you’re a psycho.." I looked at her, "What is it?"
"Remember you told me not to tell our other classmates that you and Ryutaro-kun are stepsiblings..?"
"Yeah, so what?"
"So what? That’s all you’ll say?? Well, I followed what you said and didn’t tell anyone so now rumors are all around the school." She said as she lean on the table.
"Like what?"
"Let’s try asking someone… hmm…" she looked around. "Ana-chan!"
Two Ana’s looked back. We have two Ana’s in our class.
"Tachibana Ana-chan" Rika cleared.
"What is it?" Ana-chan asked.
"I just wanna asked, what do you think about" she tapped me on my shoulder, " Kanon-chan and Ryuu-kun?"
"Hmmm, these last few weeks, I always see you guys together. Last week, I saw you guys talking at the hallway. Then yesterday, you arrived together and went home together, too. This morning, too… so... are you guys dating? Are Johnny’s allowed now? Or H!P?" she asked looking sincerely concerned.
I choked. I think Ana-chan got what it meant... No.
"Wow! Thanks Ana! Nice one.." Rika said as Ana left and went back to her friends. "See? They’re thinking you guys are together." She said to me.
"But we’re not! He’s my stepbrother!"
"Well, they don’t know that. So good luck with that."
"What do you mean by that?" I said as I raised one brow.
The bell rang and the other Ana, Arioka Ana-chan rushed towards us.
"Hey Kanon-chan…"
"Yeah?!?"
"I'm having a party. Slumber party, at my house. Do you girls wanna' come? Kanon-chan you can invite Maeda-san and the others, too." She looked at me and Rika-chan.
"Sure. When is it?" asked Rika.
"Tonight. It’ll start at 6:30."
"Tonight? Tuesday?" Kanon asked, surprised.
Ana-chan shrugged. "We don’t have classes tomorrow, teacher's workday."
"I’m not sure, I'll let you know." Rika said.
"How about you, Kanon?" she looked at me.
"Ooh, slumber party? I don’t know. I have to ask.. R--, my... my.. aunt. Since my Dad isn’t around." I almost slipped! My Dad and Ryuu’s mom finally had their honeymoon this week. Natsune-chan is with their aunt while Shin is on a tour with Kat-tun right now.
"You can bring Ryuu-kun with you if you want. There'll be guys there. You can still hang-out with him." Okay, so she still got it….
"I’m telling you Ana, Morimoto Ryutaro will be the last person I'm planning to hang-out with."
"Why? I think he's cute. And he’s a celebrity!"
I was surprised Rika-chan nodded in agreement.
"And he’s so tall." I looked at Rika-chan, aghast.
"Nice hair too.." And then I looked at Ana.
"And his body fits him." I looked back at Rika.
"ABSOLUTELY... HOT." They said at the same time.
"Ladies, ladies hello? White flag flashing!!! I'm here. Slumber party.. ok.. I'll think about it. But Ana-chan I don’t think the others can go." I said and then I dragged Rika to our classroom before she could start another conversation with Ana.
Slumber party?!? Expect Ryuu to be there? Na-uh.
After our classes, I went to my locker to put away my things. But after I opened my locker someone closed it again.
That aggravates me..
"What?!?" I shouted. Does he need to close my locker? Now I have to put in my combinations again! "Why are you still here?" I asked him, annoyed
"Stop asking question, just hurry up!"
"Go home if you want to, you grump! Who told you to wait for me?!" I shouted at him as I put my things inside my locker.
When I finished, I started walking fast, he kept up with me. I remember the slumber party. Well, they did say to invite him.
"By the way, Arioka Ana-chan is having a slumber party tonight. I’ll just go home to get some clothes. She told me to invite you, too. She said there would be guys there. But of course, you’re not a party guy, so I'm just letting you know."
He stopped walking. I can already hear what he’ll say. 'Great. You’re not going home tonight, huh.'
"Slumber party? What do you know? I looked at him, "I'm going."
"Well.. YOU--WHAT?"
"I said I'm going."
He started walking again, leaving me stunned. He's going!! That's a nightmare.
"You like parties?" I asked as I tried to keep up with him.
"No."
"Then why are you going?"
He looked angry, he faced me with a serious look.
"You’re going there? Slumber party, but with guys? What do you think that sounds like?"
Okay… I hate having an instant bro.
"We’ll go home, get some clothes then we'll go to that party."
Someone tell me I'm dreaming???
"Hey! You’re just gonna stand there?"
From that very second that he said he’s going with me, I lost myself. Why is he coming?! He’ll just ruin the night!
I lost track of time.. I didn’t notice but...
It’s already time for the slumber party. HELP!

"What did you bring, Kanon? Bricks?" Ryuu complained as he put our bags down. We we’re in front Ana’s house.
"Nah, that’s not so heavy. Hollow blocks."
I haven’t even touch the door knob but someone already opened the door. Guys. Older guys. I didn’t know Ana’s oniichan and his friends would be coming here, too. They were holding glasses and it was obvious they were drinking something. I wonder if it's alcohol.
"Fukuda Kanon!" one of the guys who smells like beer said.
I just bowed at him.
“I’m a big fan. I didn’t know you really were friends with Kyohei’s little sister.” He said as he approached me.
But Ryuu intervened, "Where will we put our things?”
"Ahh dude, ask Ana. She and Mai are the organizers. I don’t know the arrangement.." Another guy said, then he looked at me. "Do you wanna drink, Kanon?" he handed me his glass.
For the second time, Ryuu intervened.
“She's underage. She’s not drinking."
That got me irritated. I don’t wanna drink. But, I can handle myself.
We entered the house. There were so many people there. There were even some dancing in the music.
"I'll put our things upstairs in the meantime. Wait for me here." He said as he carried our bags upstair.
I looked around. There were so many people. Many I've only seen now.
After going around looking for Rika, many already greeted me and some even took pictures with me. They said they were fans. I wonder if Ryuu is experiencing the same thing.
After a while, I got myself some food and drinks. I went to one corner of the room and sat there.
Just then, someone sat beside me.
"KANON! SO YOU WERE HERE!" Rika shouted.
"Why are you shouting? I can hear you!"
"Sorry."
"Well, I didn't expect this." I said as I watched the crowd in front of us.
"It's fine, really. Just that five guys" she pointed at the guys who welcomed me and Ryuu, "and those three girls. They're drinking. They're friends of Ana's nii. I don't know why they drink with so many underage here though. And his little sister is one of those underage. Well, they did grew up abroad. Maybe this is normal for them." she said.
"Keito-san grew up in England but he's not irresponsible. One of those guys actually invited me to drink. Good thing Ryuu intervened."
"What a jerk! But in fairness, you're really a guest of honor tonight. I saw Yuki-senpai earlier, he was looking for you."
Yuki-senpai is our senpai from school. He confessed to me before but I turned him down. Sometimes H!P's contract do have its peaks.
"And those boys," Rika continued, pointing at a group of boys from the other side of the room. "Has been asking Mai-chan since earlier if you really were coming. They said they wanted to take a picture with you."
"Really? Some people took pictures with me earlier. I don't really remember their faces. It's so rowdy."
"Hey, do you wanna play spin-the-bottle?" Mami-chan called.
"Spin the bottle? Like truth or dare?" Rika asked.
"No. It's different. You'll see, wanna play?"
"Sure." Rika said as she dragged me to the middle of the room.
There were a circle of girls and boys. We sat by the girl's circle.
"Ok, ready?" asked Ana, holding the bottle.
The other girls cheered.
Ana spin the bottle. The girls watch as it slow down and then it stopped...
"Wow! Kanon!" Rika squealed.
They took out a red scarf. I suddenly felt anxious. Why did I join again?
They blindfolded me. They guided me somewhere, I just we went upstairs. After a while, we stopped. THen I heard a door opened.
It was quiet inside so I knew at once when someone arrived. They removed my blindfold and the first thing I saw...
"Cool! Lucky!!" It was the guy who opened the door earlier. I raised a brow.
"Hey.. Ana! What's going on?"
"This is your consequence. It's simple. You and Shotaro-kun will stay on the same room for 15 minutes. After that, we'll open the door, okay?"
I seemed to have stopped breathing. One room? 15 minuutes? 'Shotaro-kun'? I don't even know him!
I rushed to the door and tried to get out so they locked it from the outside.
Now... this is boring.
I sat on the couch. Away from this 'Shotaro-kun.' I don't really trust him.
"Kanon-chan, no kidding, you really are pretty!"
"You're drunk." I said, I didn't even commented on the 'chan' anymore. I was scared.
"No I'm not." he sat by the window, "Are you and that Johnny guy dating?" he suddenly asked.
He laughed, "I thought all Johnny's are gays."
"No, he's not my boyfriend and he's not gay." I said, flaring a bit.
"I thought you guys were dating. You're little friends were saying so. And earlier that guy tried so hard to keep you away from me. He's a protective little idiot you know..."
I didn't respond.
He moved closer to me. He was about two steps away from me.
I hate his smell. Beer!!!
"Back off.." I said when he leaned towards me.
"Oh come on Kanon-chan?!? I know you like me!" he said and he was so close. "Just one kiss."
"You jerk! Leave me alone! I'm not staying in here with you any longer..."
I can tell he's dangerous!
I touched the door knob and tried opening the door again. It turned but it was locked.
"Ana! Ana! Open the door! Please.." 'Shotaro' moved closer to me again. he placed his hand on my waist.
He pushed me away from the door.
"Anaaaaa!!! Anaaaa!" I cried as loud as I can.
He was grinning at me. I was so so scared.
I then heard noises from outside. It seems like they were opening the door.
"Kanon! Kanon! Are you okay?" I heard Ryuu shout. He turned the knob but he needed the keys. It was lock. "Open the door!"
"I can't!"
"Shut up! I don't care about the 15 minutes anymore! Once I get what I want, I'll let Kanon-chan go."
I moved away from the door. It's better to be as far away as possible from that guy.
He ran after me, I panicked so I screamed.
"OPEN THIS FREAKING DOOR!!" I can see the door shaking, Ryuu was trying so hard to open the door, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!? LEAVE HER ALONE!!!"
Shotaro pushed me, hard. I bumped my head on the table. I felt dizzy.
I can hear more noises from outside. Ryuu was kicking the door. Shotaro touched my face. He gripped my jaw.
"Ou--"
He was so close... only inches away...
"Stay away from her you jerk!" Ryuu shouted, the door finally opened and then... he punched him.
It wasn't really obvious that Ryuu was five years younger than that guy. He was so tall. And he looked really intimidating. I never saw him this angry before.
Shotaro touched his face. He looked lightheaded. Ryuu approached him and grasped his shirt.
"Don't you ever go near her again if you know what's good for you!"
Shotaro ran out. And people came pouring in.
"What happened here? And why is our door... broken?" Ana asked, looking stunned.
"Sorry Ana.." I said.
"Why not ask your stupid friend!" Ryuu shouted.
Mai, too, arrived. She looked shocked as well.
Only then did I noticed that Ryuu's hand was bleeding.
"Mai, do you have a first-aid kit? I don't think I can handle any party now..."
"Ahh.. yeah. If you want, you can stay at my house. It's quiet there. The plan was, the guys would sleep here and the girls in my house. But you guys can stay there. Only a few people are there."
"Forget that arrangement thing. We're staying in the same room.."
Mai and I both stared at Ryuu.
"But--" Mai tried to say.
"I don't wanna repeat myself."
Some of Ryuu's friends help us carry our things to Mai's house just in front of Ana's.
Mai showed us to one of their rooms and handed me the first aid kit.
When she closed the door, his litany started.
"What did I tell you?!? Wait for me, right? There were so many people! I was looking all over for you! Then one of your friends said you're upstair with that... that stranger!"
"Okay! It's my fault! But do you know why I didn't wait for you? Because I'm not you're dog Ryutaro! I wanna enjoy myself! With my friends! And not being watched by my hawk of a brother!"
"I'm not your brother!" Ryuu said but Kanon didn't stop.
"They invited me to play, sure, I joined them! It's just a game. I bet that guy didn't even mean that thing.. he's drunk can't you see?!?"
"Ooh I can tell alright that he's drunk thank you very much. And what kind of a game is that anyway?!" he retorted.
"I told you it's just a game.." I said as I opened the first aid kid.
"A stupid game.." he murmured.
"Give me your hand. It's bleeding. What did you do?" I said trying to change the subject.
"I punched the door. It didn't work so I kicked it. There was a crack so I punched it again." he looked at his hand, "I didn't know it’s bleeding."
He looked away from me.
I took out the medicine and started treating him.
"Ouch! Be gentle, will you?"
"Don't move!"
It was as if we were playing tug-of-war. I'll pull his hand, he'll pull it back. But after some time, I finally managed to wrap it in a bandage.
"Thanks.." he said softly.
"No.. thank you." I said. He looked at me but only for a second.
His phone rang then. He looked at it then sighed. "Hai, Yabu-kun?"
"Where are you? I went to your house but no one's there. Are you with Kanon? You're mom asked me to check up on you." I heard Yabu-san's loud voice from the phone's speaker. He was shouting
"Hai, I'm with her. We're at a friends. Slumber party... It was sudden." he explained.
I didn't hear the next words said by Yabu-san.
"Yeah, sorry if I worried you... Yeah, no we won't stay up late. Yeah... see you... bye."
That was when I remembered.
"You have a show tomorrow! I forgot! You should have told me!" I said.
He didn't reply.
"Fine, be that way." I grumped. I sat on the bed.
We were quiet for sometime.
"Hey.. you already asleep?" I opened my eyes and saw Ryuu's face. His face was so close to mine! I moved back.
"Don't do that!" I said, looking away.
"Do what?"
"Stick your face in front of me." I said still not looking at him.
"I was just checking if you already fell asleep." He sat up. "I hate your eyelashes."
Can this guy hurt me enough?
"So what? As if I care what you think about my eyelashes." but in truth... I care about what he said.
I sighed.
"So... we didn't really get to enjoy this party huh..." I said.
"You still feel like partying?" he asked, one brow raised.
I just shook my head.
"Let's call it a night then." he said and I silently agreed.
We stood up at the same time and went to our things. I took out my PJ's and toothbrush... and some other things. He took out his things too.
Since there were two bathroom in Mai's house, he went to one and I went to the other. I took a shower. I took my time... This night was so exhausting, so many things happened.
I went back to the room where our bags were and went straight to bed. The girls who would be sleeping here later should just wake me up. I pulled on the blanket, but something was preventing me.
I realized that that was not a something but rather, a someone.
"HEY!" I hit him, "GET OUTTA' HERE."
He stood up.
"I'm staying here."
I was stunned. I know he said it earlier but I thought he was just carried away with his anger. I never thought he was serious.
"Baka! We can't stay in the same room!"
"Why not?" he asked as he lied on the bed once more. "Just sleep, Kanon."
"Ryutaro! Jeez! Fine! I'll just sleep in the next room!"
I tried to get up but Ryuu held my hand and pulled me back.
"You're not sleeping in another room. I don't want any repeat of what happened earlier.."
"REPEAT? HOW CAN THERE BE A REPEAT?? THAT GUY IS GONE!" I shrieked.
"I'm not talking about him. There's so many guys here and I don't trust them. All of them.." he turned his back on me, "Don't try me, I'll follow you in every room. I'll even sleep in the bathroom, if you resort to that."
ARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!
"I don't wanna stay in the same room with you. They don't know you're my brother--"
"Step-brother."
"Same difference! The point is, what do you think that looks like?" I can't believe this guy!
"I don't care what they say..." he said, nonchalantly.
He's so stubborn!
"Okay, fine. I'll sleep on the bed." I pulled the blanket around me. "But you'll be sleeping on the floor." I said as I kick him. He fell off the bed.
"Why did you kick me?" he asked, annoyed.
I didn't respond. I turned my back on him
But then I felt his weight on the bed again. Oh Kami-sama... help me.
What should I do to make him go away??
As a last resort, I stretched my arms so I could hit his back since he was lying on his side.
But he's smart so he faced me and got my right hand crashed under him.
"Nice play.. try this one." he smirked at me then stretched his left arm and hit my neck. It was so heavy!
Of course I wouldn't back down. Because I couldn't really do anything with my right hand, I used my right foot and place it on top of his left foot.
But then he placed his right foot on top of my right foot. So I placed my left hand on top of his neck.
Waaaa!!!!!!! It's so annoying I disentangle my limbs from his and but he wasn't letting my right hand off so I pinched him.
"Ouch!" he let out and he rolled over so my hand was free.
"That's it rubberman! I'll just stay at the terrace. You don't wanna leave the bed, fine, I'll sleep on the couch!"
"Okay, so you say. This is better..."
I really really really wanted to hit him but I can't really do anything but be irritated at him. I opened the glass door and sat by the terrace. I'll just let him sleep. He's soo not a gentleman! And people are actually thinking he's my boyfriend or something but look at what he does! And now what? We're stuck in one room (his doing)! Ugh!!
He's really such a kid!!!! But... well, I can't really get myself to be angry with him... I couldn't forget the look on his face when he gripped the jerk's shirt... He was so angry... It was a good thing nothing serious happened.
It was so cold out here. I can see Ana's house from here. It seems the party is still going. It was so bright from there.
But Ryuu really is... he's kinda' over protective. If he did that cause he's my bro now... it feels... a bit weird.
I looked at the sky. I know one thing tonight. It wouldn't rain since there's so many stars. And that's a really good scene right there...
Cause of my musings I didn't noticed that I wasn't alone anymore. Suddenly, someone pushed me so I went off balance
"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" I shrieked. It seems I wasn't pushed, someone lifted me up holding me on my waist and so now...
I'M NOT STEPPING ON ANYTHING... NOR AM I SITTING ON ANYTHING. I know that any second now, I can fell from this floor.
"PUT ME DOWN! PUT ME DOWN! I'M SCARED! RYUU!" I cried. I mean I literally cried.
"Hey.. hey... don't panic! Don't panic!" He tried saying. Since he was carrying me, it was no time that he pulled me and I was back on my feet. Well, my knees gave out so I was on the floor once he put me down.
I wrapped my arms around my legs and continued crying. I was really scared. I really thought I would fell. He crouched down at me, offering to help me up. I pushed his hand away.
"Don't touch me!" I said, my pajama was already wet because of my tears.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know you would panic like that.."
"Who wouldn't? I thought someone pushed me! Who wouldn't be scared! Just.. Just get away from me!"
"Sorry, okay?" he said as he sat beside me. "Honestly, I did that on purpose. To scare you.. yeah. I didn't think you'd be so scared."
I didn't respond. Why the hell did he want to scare me?! Oh yeah... pranks... how we express our fondness to each other. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.
"I'm really sorry.." He looked straight at me. "I was going to say you can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the couch cause I noticed you weren't planning on going back in..."
I glared at him. I know it wasn't effective since tears were still falling from my eyes.
But then he embraced me, so now his pajamas is all wet.
"I won't do it again.. I promise. I'll make it up to you.. You can call me stupid or any names.. or you can curse me.."
"I don't curse.." I said. I was still shocked he actually hugged me.
"Good. Me too." he said, still holding me close.
"I won't do that again.." he said. I was feeling a bit better now. But I was still crying. So Ryuu continued on talking.
"Okay, I won't say this ever again so listen."
I was really confused. I really can't understand him!
"Kanon, I want you to remember three things..."
What now? And I was still sniffling.
"I won't give you up, I won't let you down... but most of all…”
“I won’t let you go…”

Slumber party?!? Expect Ryuu to be there? Na-uh.
After our classes, I went to my locker to put away my things. But after I opened my locker someone closed it again.
That aggravates me..
"What?!?" I shouted. Does he need to close my locker? Now I have to put in my combinations again! "Why are you still here?" I asked him, annoyed
"Stop asking question, just hurry up!"
"Go home if you want to, you grump! Who told you to wait for me?!" I shouted at him as I put my things inside my locker.
When I finished, I started walking fast, he kept up with me. I remember the slumber party. Well, they did say to invite him.
"By the way, Arioka Ana-chan is having a slumber party tonight. I’ll just go home to get some clothes. She told me to invite you, too. She said there would be guys there. But of course, you’re not a party guy, so I'm just letting you know."
He stopped walking. I can already hear what he’ll say. 'Great. You’re not going home tonight, huh.'
"Slumber party? What do you know? I looked at him, "I'm going."
"Well.. YOU--WHAT?"
"I said I'm going."
He started walking again, leaving me stunned. He's going!! That's a nightmare.
"You like parties?" I asked as I tried to keep up with him.
"No."
"Then why are you going?"
He looked angry, he faced me with a serious look.
"You’re going there? Slumber party, but with guys? What do you think that sounds like?"
Okay… I hate having an instant bro.
"We’ll go home, get some clothes then we'll go to that party."
Someone tell me I'm dreaming???
"Hey! You’re just gonna stand there?"
From that very second that he said he’s going with me, I lost myself. Why is he coming?! He’ll just ruin the night!
I lost track of time.. I didn’t notice but...
It’s already time for the slumber party. HELP!

"What did you bring, Kanon? Bricks?" Ryuu complained as he put our bags down. We we’re in front Ana’s house.
"Nah, that’s not so heavy. Hollow blocks."
I haven’t even touch the door knob but someone already opened the door. Guys. Older guys. I didn’t know Ana’s oniichan and his friends would be coming here, too. They were holding glasses and it was obvious they were drinking something. I wonder if it's alcohol.
"Fukuda Kanon!" one of the guys who smells like beer said.
I just bowed at him.
“I’m a big fan. I didn’t know you really were friends with Kyohei’s little sister.” He said as he approached me.
But Ryuu intervened, "Where will we put our things?”
"Ahh dude, ask Ana. She and Mai are the organizers. I don’t know the arrangement.." Another guy said, then he looked at me. "Do you wanna drink, Kanon?" he handed me his glass.
For the second time, Ryuu intervened.
“She's underage. She’s not drinking."
That got me irritated. I don’t wanna drink. But, I can handle myself.
We entered the house. There were so many people there. There were even some dancing in the music.
"I'll put our things upstairs in the meantime. Wait for me here." He said as he carried our bags upstair.
I looked around. There were so many people. Many I've only seen now.
After going around looking for Rika, many already greeted me and some even took pictures with me. They said they were fans. I wonder if Ryuu is experiencing the same thing.
After a while, I got myself some food and drinks. I went to one corner of the room and sat there.
Just then, someone sat beside me.
"KANON! SO YOU WERE HERE!" Rika shouted.
"Why are you shouting? I can hear you!"
"Sorry."
"Well, I didn't expect this." I said as I watched the crowd in front of us.
"It's fine, really. Just that five guys" she pointed at the guys who welcomed me and Ryuu, "and those three girls. They're drinking. They're friends of Ana's nii. I don't know why they drink with so many underage here though. And his little sister is one of those underage. Well, they did grew up abroad. Maybe this is normal for them." she said.
"Keito-san grew up in England but he's not irresponsible. One of those guys actually invited me to drink. Good thing Ryuu intervened."
"What a jerk! But in fairness, you're really a guest of honor tonight. I saw Yuki-senpai earlier, he was looking for you."
Yuki-senpai is our senpai from school. He confessed to me before but I turned him down. Sometimes H!P's contract do have its peaks.
"And those boys," Rika continued, pointing at a group of boys from the other side of the room. "Has been asking Mai-chan since earlier if you really were coming. They said they wanted to take a picture with you."
"Really? Some people took pictures with me earlier. I don't really remember their faces. It's so rowdy."
"Hey, do you wanna play spin-the-bottle?" Mami-chan called.
"Spin the bottle? Like truth or dare?" Rika asked.
"No. It's different. You'll see, wanna play?"
"Sure." Rika said as she dragged me to the middle of the room.
There were a circle of girls and boys. We sat by the girl's circle.
"Ok, ready?" asked Ana, holding the bottle.
The other girls cheered.
Ana spin the bottle. The girls watch as it slow down and then it stopped...
"Wow! Kanon!" Rika squealed.
They took out a red scarf. I suddenly felt anxious. Why did I join again?
They blindfolded me. They guided me somewhere, I just we went upstairs. After a while, we stopped. THen I heard a door opened.
It was quiet inside so I knew at once when someone arrived. They removed my blindfold and the first thing I saw...
"Cool! Lucky!!" It was the guy who opened the door earlier. I raised a brow.
"Hey.. Ana! What's going on?"
"This is your consequence. It's simple. You and Shotaro-kun will stay on the same room for 15 minutes. After that, we'll open the door, okay?"
I seemed to have stopped breathing. One room? 15 minuutes? 'Shotaro-kun'? I don't even know him!
I rushed to the door and tried to get out so they locked it from the outside.
Now... this is boring.
I sat on the couch. Away from this 'Shotaro-kun.' I don't really trust him.
"Kanon-chan, no kidding, you really are pretty!"
"You're drunk." I said, I didn't even commented on the 'chan' anymore. I was scared.
"No I'm not." he sat by the window, "Are you and that Johnny guy dating?" he suddenly asked.
He laughed, "I thought all Johnny's are gays."
"No, he's not my boyfriend and he's not gay." I said, flaring a bit.
"I thought you guys were dating. You're little friends were saying so. And earlier that guy tried so hard to keep you away from me. He's a protective little idiot you know..."
I didn't respond.
He moved closer to me. He was about two steps away from me.
I hate his smell. Beer!!!
"Back off.." I said when he leaned towards me.
"Oh come on Kanon-chan?!? I know you like me!" he said and he was so close. "Just one kiss."
"You jerk! Leave me alone! I'm not staying in here with you any longer..."
I can tell he's dangerous!
I touched the door knob and tried opening the door again. It turned but it was locked.
"Ana! Ana! Open the door! Please.." 'Shotaro' moved closer to me again. he placed his hand on my waist.
He pushed me away from the door.
"Anaaaaa!!! Anaaaa!" I cried as loud as I can.
He was grinning at me. I was so so scared.
I then heard noises from outside. It seems like they were opening the door.
"Kanon! Kanon! Are you okay?" I heard Ryuu shout. He turned the knob but he needed the keys. It was lock. "Open the door!"
"I can't!"
"Shut up! I don't care about the 15 minutes anymore! Once I get what I want, I'll let Kanon-chan go."
I moved away from the door. It's better to be as far away as possible from that guy.
He ran after me, I panicked so I screamed.
"OPEN THIS FREAKING DOOR!!" I can see the door shaking, Ryuu was trying so hard to open the door, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!? LEAVE HER ALONE!!!"
Shotaro pushed me, hard. I bumped my head on the table. I felt dizzy.
I can hear more noises from outside. Ryuu was kicking the door. Shotaro touched my face. He gripped my jaw.
"Ou--"
He was so close... only inches away...
"Stay away from her you jerk!" Ryuu shouted, the door finally opened and then... he punched him.
It wasn't really obvious that Ryuu was five years younger than that guy. He was so tall. And he looked really intimidating. I never saw him this angry before.
Shotaro touched his face. He looked lightheaded. Ryuu approached him and grasped his shirt.
"Don't you ever go near her again if you know what's good for you!"
Shotaro ran out. And people came pouring in.
"What happened here? And why is our door... broken?" Ana asked, looking stunned.
"Sorry Ana.." I said.
"Why not ask your stupid friend!" Ryuu shouted.
Mai, too, arrived. She looked shocked as well.
Only then did I noticed that Ryuu's hand was bleeding.
"Mai, do you have a first-aid kit? I don't think I can handle any party now..."
"Ahh.. yeah. If you want, you can stay at my house. It's quiet there. The plan was, the guys would sleep here and the girls in my house. But you guys can stay there. Only a few people are there."
"Forget that arrangement thing. We're staying in the same room.."
Mai and I both stared at Ryuu.
"But--" Mai tried to say.
"I don't wanna repeat myself."
Some of Ryuu's friends help us carry our things to Mai's house just in front of Ana's.
Mai showed us to one of their rooms and handed me the first aid kit.
When she closed the door, his litany started.
"What did I tell you?!? Wait for me, right? There were so many people! I was looking all over for you! Then one of your friends said you're upstair with that... that stranger!"
"Okay! It's my fault! But do you know why I didn't wait for you? Because I'm not you're dog Ryutaro! I wanna enjoy myself! With my friends! And not being watched by my hawk of a brother!"
"I'm not your brother!" Ryuu said but Kanon didn't stop.
"They invited me to play, sure, I joined them! It's just a game. I bet that guy didn't even mean that thing.. he's drunk can't you see?!?"
"Ooh I can tell alright that he's drunk thank you very much. And what kind of a game is that anyway?!" he retorted.
"I told you it's just a game.." I said as I opened the first aid kid.
"A stupid game.." he murmured.
"Give me your hand. It's bleeding. What did you do?" I said trying to change the subject.
"I punched the door. It didn't work so I kicked it. There was a crack so I punched it again." he looked at his hand, "I didn't know it’s bleeding."
He looked away from me.
I took out the medicine and started treating him.
"Ouch! Be gentle, will you?"
"Don't move!"
It was as if we were playing tug-of-war. I'll pull his hand, he'll pull it back. But after some time, I finally managed to wrap it in a bandage.
"Thanks.." he said softly.
"No.. thank you." I said. He looked at me but only for a second.
His phone rang then. He looked at it then sighed. "Hai, Yabu-kun?"
"Where are you? I went to your house but no one's there. Are you with Kanon? You're mom asked me to check up on you." I heard Yabu-san's loud voice from the phone's speaker. He was shouting
"Hai, I'm with her. We're at a friends. Slumber party... It was sudden." he explained.
I didn't hear the next words said by Yabu-san.
"Yeah, sorry if I worried you... Yeah, no we won't stay up late. Yeah... see you... bye."
That was when I remembered.
"You have a show tomorrow! I forgot! You should have told me!" I said.
He didn't reply.
"Fine, be that way." I grumped. I sat on the bed.
We were quiet for sometime.
"Hey.. you already asleep?" I opened my eyes and saw Ryuu's face. His face was so close to mine! I moved back.
"Don't do that!" I said, looking away.
"Do what?"
"Stick your face in front of me." I said still not looking at him.
"I was just checking if you already fell asleep." He sat up. "I hate your eyelashes."
Can this guy hurt me enough?
"So what? As if I care what you think about my eyelashes." but in truth... I care about what he said.
I sighed.
"So... we didn't really get to enjoy this party huh..." I said.
"You still feel like partying?" he asked, one brow raised.
I just shook my head.
"Let's call it a night then." he said and I silently agreed.
We stood up at the same time and went to our things. I took out my PJ's and toothbrush... and some other things. He took out his things too.
Since there were two bathroom in Mai's house, he went to one and I went to the other. I took a shower. I took my time... This night was so exhausting, so many things happened.
I went back to the room where our bags were and went straight to bed. The girls who would be sleeping here later should just wake me up. I pulled on the blanket, but something was preventing me.
I realized that that was not a something but rather, a someone.
"HEY!" I hit him, "GET OUTTA' HERE."
He stood up.
"I'm staying here."
I was stunned. I know he said it earlier but I thought he was just carried away with his anger. I never thought he was serious.
"Baka! We can't stay in the same room!"
"Why not?" he asked as he lied on the bed once more. "Just sleep, Kanon."
"Ryutaro! Jeez! Fine! I'll just sleep in the next room!"
I tried to get up but Ryuu held my hand and pulled me back.
"You're not sleeping in another room. I don't want any repeat of what happened earlier.."
"REPEAT? HOW CAN THERE BE A REPEAT?? THAT GUY IS GONE!" I shrieked.
"I'm not talking about him. There's so many guys here and I don't trust them. All of them.." he turned his back on me, "Don't try me, I'll follow you in every room. I'll even sleep in the bathroom, if you resort to that."
ARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!
"I don't wanna stay in the same room with you. They don't know you're my brother--"
"Step-brother."
"Same difference! The point is, what do you think that looks like?" I can't believe this guy!
"I don't care what they say..." he said, nonchalantly.
He's so stubborn!
"Okay, fine. I'll sleep on the bed." I pulled the blanket around me. "But you'll be sleeping on the floor." I said as I kick him. He fell off the bed.
"Why did you kick me?" he asked, annoyed.
I didn't respond. I turned my back on him
But then I felt his weight on the bed again. Oh Kami-sama... help me.
What should I do to make him go away??
As a last resort, I stretched my arms so I could hit his back since he was lying on his side.
But he's smart so he faced me and got my right hand crashed under him.
"Nice play.. try this one." he smirked at me then stretched his left arm and hit my neck. It was so heavy!
Of course I wouldn't back down. Because I couldn't really do anything with my right hand, I used my right foot and place it on top of his left foot.
But then he placed his right foot on top of my right foot. So I placed my left hand on top of his neck.
Waaaa!!!!!!! It's so annoying I disentangle my limbs from his and but he wasn't letting my right hand off so I pinched him.
"Ouch!" he let out and he rolled over so my hand was free.
"That's it rubberman! I'll just stay at the terrace. You don't wanna leave the bed, fine, I'll sleep on the couch!"
"Okay, so you say. This is better..."
I really really really wanted to hit him but I can't really do anything but be irritated at him. I opened the glass door and sat by the terrace. I'll just let him sleep. He's soo not a gentleman! And people are actually thinking he's my boyfriend or something but look at what he does! And now what? We're stuck in one room (his doing)! Ugh!!
He's really such a kid!!!! But... well, I can't really get myself to be angry with him... I couldn't forget the look on his face when he gripped the jerk's shirt... He was so angry... It was a good thing nothing serious happened.
It was so cold out here. I can see Ana's house from here. It seems the party is still going. It was so bright from there.
But Ryuu really is... he's kinda' over protective. If he did that cause he's my bro now... it feels... a bit weird.
I looked at the sky. I know one thing tonight. It wouldn't rain since there's so many stars. And that's a really good scene right there...
Cause of my musings I didn't noticed that I wasn't alone anymore. Suddenly, someone pushed me so I went off balance
"AAAAAHHHHHHH!" I shrieked. It seems I wasn't pushed, someone lifted me up holding me on my waist and so now...
I'M NOT STEPPING ON ANYTHING... NOR AM I SITTING ON ANYTHING. I know that any second now, I can fell from this floor.
"PUT ME DOWN! PUT ME DOWN! I'M SCARED! RYUU!" I cried. I mean I literally cried.
"Hey.. hey... don't panic! Don't panic!" He tried saying. Since he was carrying me, it was no time that he pulled me and I was back on my feet. Well, my knees gave out so I was on the floor once he put me down.
I wrapped my arms around my legs and continued crying. I was really scared. I really thought I would fell. He crouched down at me, offering to help me up. I pushed his hand away.
"Don't touch me!" I said, my pajama was already wet because of my tears.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know you would panic like that.."
"Who wouldn't? I thought someone pushed me! Who wouldn't be scared! Just.. Just get away from me!"
"Sorry, okay?" he said as he sat beside me. "Honestly, I did that on purpose. To scare you.. yeah. I didn't think you'd be so scared."
I didn't respond. Why the hell did he want to scare me?! Oh yeah... pranks... how we express our fondness to each other. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.
"I'm really sorry.." He looked straight at me. "I was going to say you can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the couch cause I noticed you weren't planning on going back in..."
I glared at him. I know it wasn't effective since tears were still falling from my eyes.
But then he embraced me, so now his pajamas is all wet.
"I won't do it again.. I promise. I'll make it up to you.. You can call me stupid or any names.. or you can curse me.."
"I don't curse.." I said. I was still shocked he actually hugged me.
"Good. Me too." he said, still holding me close.
"I won't do that again.." he said. I was feeling a bit better now. But I was still crying. So Ryuu continued on talking.
"Okay, I won't say this ever again so listen."
I was really confused. I really can't understand him!
"Kanon, I want you to remember three things..."
What now? And I was still sniffling.
"I won't give you up, I won't let you down... but most of all…”
“I won’t let you go…”
