Keito could only blinked when a red blur passed in front of him.
"Raiya. Don't run." Nakajima-papa chided, though he didn't look up from the newspaper he was reading.
"Yeah." Raiya had said, though he was still moving fast.
"Ohayou Raiya-kun." Keito had greeted, rather awkwardly.
Raiya looked up and smiled in surprise when he saw him. "Keito-nii! I didn't notice you there! Ohayou!" He said.
Keito nodded with a smile. "Are you going somewhere?" He asked, taking note of Raiya's appearance. He was wearing a red hoodie, a familiar blue plaid pants (he was sure those were Yuto's) and a bag was hung over his body.
Just then, Nakajima-mama entered the living room with a plate of bacon. "Raiya have a date today." She said, answering Keito's question.
Keito looked at Raiya here, surprised, but happy for the younger guy all the same.
"It's not a date." Raiya had immediately said, though. "It's just Riko, mom."
Nakajima-mama looked at his youngest.
"You and Riko are going to the amusement park." She said.
"Yeah." Raiya said.
"All the way to Chiba." She continued.
"So?"
"Just the two of you." She added.
"It's just Riko." Raiya repeated, though there was a faint blush creeping on his face.
"And you brought her two gifts." His mom finished.
Seemingly not having anything else to say, Raiya resorted to, "Mom!"
His mom shook her head in amusement and exasperation and offer some bacons for Keito.
"What about you Keito-nii? What are you doing here?" Raiya asked, trying not to look flustered and trying to change the subject. Keito could tell. He knew Raiya wasn't really surprise to see him there. JUMP members always go in there house for meet ups or whenever they just wanna hang out. In Yamada and Chii's case, they go here whenever they want to study together, too. Those two can practically call Nakajima home their second home. He knew the two guys even have some things here from sleepovers.
"I don't know exactly myself, actually." Keito answered Raiya. "You're brother just called me. I guess he just wanna hang out. He called Yamada and Chii but they have NYC work today."
"Oh." Raiya said, nodding while eating. "Where is Nii-chan?" He asked.
"He went out while talking to Ryuu on the phone." He said, inwardly wondering what happened to the guy.
As if on cue, Yuto had returned to the dining room. He grinned when he saw his brother and sat next to him.
"Raiya! You're up! So, ready for the date?" He asked, excitedly.
Raiya's blush came back.
"It's not a date! It's only Riko!" He exclaimed.
"Eh?" Yuto just said, obviously wasn't really intending to tease but was just genuinely happy for his brother.
"Who is this Riko?" Keito tried to change the subject.
"Oh, you know her, Keito. She's a child actor. You know, from Ninomiya-kun and Sakurai-kun's Yamadataro Monogatari." He said.
Keito blinked. There were so many children there. "Which one?" He asked.
"Her name was Itsuko in the drama." Raiya said.
But Keito only, well, blinked in wonder.
"Uhm, she was also in Mei-chan wo Shitsuji and Oh My Girl with Mocomichi-san. Did you watch those?" Yuto asked.
Recognition dawn on Keito's face. "Oh, that cute little girl!" He said.
The frown that surface on Raiya's face didn't went unnotice by Keito at his words but before he could do anything, Yuto had continued their conversation.
"Yeah, that girl. But she's not so liittle anymore. She's Raiya's" He looked at his brother and then turn back to Keito. "bestfriend, I guess." He said the last two words very softly.
"She was in the neighborhood and Raiya was practically in their house everyday, playing. They go to school together, too. They were classmates in kindergarten. But then, three years ago, they had to move." Yuto explained.
Keito only nodded though inwardly he had noted that that was around the same time Raiya had started getting interested in entering the industry.
"So, is this your first time seeing each other after three years?" He asked Raiya.
"No. She visited during my last birthday." Raiya said, smiling.
"That's so long ago." Yuto commented.
Raiya shrugged, looking a bit sad. "I wasn't able to go to her birthday last October because I had work." He said. "That's why I have two gifts. One for her birthday and another for Christmas." He explained.
Just then, the doorbell rang and Yuto had stood up to get the door.
Raiya stood up to, "I'll be going now, mom, dad, Keito-nii." He said.
"Be sure to get back before it gets dark. And walk Riko-chan home, ne?" Nakajima-mama said.
"Take care." Nakajima-papa said. Raiya just nodded.
"Enjoy your day." Keito said.
"I will." Raiya said, grinning, and Keito could see the excitement filling the younger guy.
As Raiya go, he heard Yuto called, "Itterashai!"
And then Yuto had returned to the dining room, now with Ryuu.
"Okay, let's go." Yuto said to the two.
"Go where?" Keito asked.
----
Raiya sat at the train station, waiting for Riko.
He smiled when he heard someone call him.
He stood up and turned to the voice and his smile grew wider at the sight of her.
"Rai-chan!" She called and then went ahead and hugged him. Raiya blushed, but returned the hug.
Then Riko stepped back and then frowned at him. "You're so tall. You've become taller than me." She pouted.
Raiya laughed and shrugged. "I'm a boy." He said simply.
"Unfair." Riko said, frowning playfully.
Raiya laughed once more. "Come on, I wanna go to DisneySea early."
----
"Seriously, Yuto, we should just leave them alone." Keito tried to say as they discreetly followed the two.
"It's Raiya's first date! I can't miss it!" Yuto said as if what Keito suggested was something unacceptable.
"This is just wrong." Keito said.
"He tried to make Natsune come and flirt with Raiya to see the other girl's reaction! That was just plain wrong." Ryuu said, disgusted.
Keito looked at him. "That was why you were arguing on the phone?"
"It was a great idea!" Yuto chimed in.
Keito and Ryuu just groaned.
Yuto then took hold of both guys' arms and pulled them. "We're gonna loose them! Come on!"
