"YES!!!!"
The audience had all given an 'Ehh' then. Even the other members. They didn't really know what Yuto was talking about.
It was Hey! Say! JUMP's spring concert for the year 2013. It was the MC part. They had set the topic beforehand but then Yuto took the initiative to talk first and the other members were lost as to what he was talking about.
"I'm really happy right now." Yuto said, grinning from ear to ear.
"We figure that out." Hikaru had said, trying to get back to logic. Their fans were uncharacteristically silent as well. "Why, though?"
"Because it's a 'yes'!" Yuto repeated.
Yamada laughed awkwardly. "What are you talking about? It's completely different from our topic!"
"Well, okay I'll explain." Yuto said and then he faced the audience.
"Minna, uhmm... I don't really know how to start..." Yuto said and the other members all listened. "Well, others may say what I'm doing is not really necessary but I'd like to get the blessings of the fans."
The whole Dome was really quiet now, it was eerie.
"You see... well, this is really embarassing but I've liked someone for a while now. And the other day, I finally found the courage to confess. And she said yes. So I'm very very happy. But I'd be more happy if the fans give us their blessings. Is it okay?"
There was a pause. The other members were left dumbfounded at Yuto's announcement.
Then suddenly, their fans 'kya'-ed. There was a buzz of talking and 'awwing' among the fans.
Yabu and Keito both went to Yuto. Yabu gave him a headlock while Keito mock-punched him.
"You didn't tell us anything, man!" Daiki had exclaimed.
"Honestly, you could have said something!" Ryuu said.
"I'm in shock." Yuya said and Yamada nodded.
"Omedeto!" Inoo chirped.
"Actually, I thought he would say he'll be marrying someone because of th 'yes'. Why do I suddenly feel relieved? Don't surprise us like that, baka!" Chinen said.
After the member's violent reaction, Yuto addressed the audience again.
"Uhmm, I'm not sure about your reaction..." Yuto said to the audience. "Did we get your blessing?"
There was a united' "Hai~!"
"Hontoni?!" Yuto exclaimed grinning.
"Yuto kakkoii!"
"She's soo lucky!"
"I'm jealous.. so lucky, ne?"
"He's so sweet..."
"Omedeto!"
"We'll support you!"
Was heard from the crowd with a gentle tone. Yuto had really gotten his fans' blessing.
Then with eyes sparkling with happiness he said, "Arigatou gozaimasu! Hontoni!" And bowed very low.
"You've made me the happiest man today. Arigatou!"
There were more outburst from the fans.
"Uh..." Yuto said, scratching his head. "So, do everyone want to know who she is?"
"HAI!!" Best all said at once on their mics.
Some fans laughed and almost all were nodding and saying 'who is she?'
Yuto smiled at everyone and said, "Ohgo Suzuka-chan."
That little scene were greatly advertised to the whole nation of Japan. It was really a first. And an artist from Johnny's as well.
Suzuka and Yuto were invited for interviews many times.
"I've liked her since when we were in school but she's a bit intimidating and we weren't allowed to date then so I didn't make any move." Yuto said.
"You were intimidated with me?" Suzuka said giggling. "So that's why you were so sweet then. I thought you were just nice in general, but Mirai-chan was always saying you weren't."
"Eh? But I am nice in general. I'm nice to Shida-chan as well..." Yuto said, pouting.
"No, I think she just wants me to know you like me." Suzuka said.
After a while, this news finally cool down but no one can forget what Yuto did.
They had gotten a movie together as well as other projects.
They'd been thought as the ideal couple. There were many intrigues about them... many rumors about third parties and such but they've learned to just ignore them.
That was five years ago and 'til now Suzuka still feel surreal whenever she thought of that incident.
In 2018, JUMP had released a new album with all of them having solos composed by each. All of their solos would have a PV. This was new to them. It was their first time having solo PVs.
They were even asked of how they like the PV to turn out.
Yuto had asked if Suzuka could be in his. Unexpectedly, the jimusho said it was okay. It was well-known that they were a couple anyway.
Suzuka was surprised to know that the PV would be set in her town. It wasn't really in her house, but it was near enough.
Yuto said he just wanted the PV to be memorable.
The day of the making, Yuto had fetch Suzuka from her house to the set. Mirai, her flatmate, tagged along since it was her off.
They had arrive at the location early since it was technically just Suzuka's neighborhood.
Everything was already set and it seems they were already filming. Yuto had said that the preparation for the stage (which was now complete) were also filmed.
Currently they were filming the extras and the crowds.
"Let me just say," Mirai said. "Johnny's really have money, huh? I mean, isn't this too gallant? With all those extras and that stage, and the house you rented...."
Suzuka nodded. "I agree. Wow, Yuto."
"Come off it," Yuto said, laughing. "I think I'm the poorest among us three."
"We weren't talking about you, baka. We're talking about the jimusho." Mirai said.
The band Yuto worked with approached them, then. Yuto introduced them. Yuto was the one who composed the song so of course it was rock. The song's title is 'Anything.' Neither Suzuka nor Mirai had heard it though.
They were now filming an interviewer. The concept for Yuto's PV was basically a couple having a fight, and the guy being a famous rock star went out his way to say 'sorry' with the whole world watching.
It was a bit like reality, Suzuka mused. Excluding the fighting part... but the world does seems to always watch them. She'd have to thank Yuto for that. Well, it was sweet, she allowed.
After that scene, Yuto said goodbye for the meantime for his parts. They will be filming the band part. Three cameras were set up. One was Yuto's close up, another showing the whole stage and the last one zooming in to the band.
Mirai and Suzuka watched as the band started playing with Yuto singing. It was their first time hearing the song. It was a very 'Yuto' song.
"I'm guessing Yuto was thinking of someone when he wrote this song." Mirai said, smirking and Suzuka have to smile.
This was very sweet of Yuto. It was a song that can touch any girl's heart. The lyrics "Why can't you see? You're all that matters" particularly pulled a heartstring. And Suzuka's favorite part was the bridge.
"I'd take the stars right out of the sky for you
I'd end the world give you the sun, the moon
For all of time, forever loving you"
It was just too sweet. And it was as if Yuto was singing with all his heart.
They repeated the song about five times until the director gave an okay.
The next they filmed was Suzuka's parts.
It was a bit embarassing for Suzuka with Yuto staring at her with a smile on his face. She didn't know why but Yuto looked like he was very ver very very very happy.
They first filmed Suzuka sitting in the front porch. They gave a signal and Suzuka looked up, supposedly seeing a bus come. Then she frowned, stood up, went inside her 'house' and locked the door.
It only took one shot. The director immediately gave an 'okay.'
Next they filmed inside the house. The house were arranged according to Yuto's directions and Suzuka was just bewildered as to why the 'rented' house looked familiarly like her and Mirai's house.
Pictures of her and Yuto, real pictures taken from their five years as a couple and even pictures from when they were still in Horikoshi, was decorating the living rooms, stairs and 'her' room.
They first filmed Suzuka peeking at the window and then frowning.
Next they filmed Suzuka going up the stairs with her feet in focus. And then another shot with her going up and removing the pictures of her and Yuto hanging on the wall.
After that they filmed her going down the stairs.
Yuto and Mirai were watching throughout. Suzuka was really nervous but it seems she was still fine since she had been getting 'okays' from Director-san.
After that they went to the living room to film Suzuka throwing away music sheets.
Then off they went to 'her' room.
When Suzuka got the signal, she marched up inside the room, holding the pictures she'd removed from the stairs. She opened a drawer and shoved them there.
After that the director had yelled out, "Cut!" and gave Suzuka another 'okay.'
They set up the camera to film a close up of Suzuka looking at the mirror and seeing more pictures of her and Yuto stuck there.
Suzuka, following the script, let a tear trickle down her face.
Supposedly, she 'remembered' how it was when they were happy together.
Another 'cut' and they'd set up again for her next scene.
When the director gave a 'go', Suzuka, crying went and lied down her 'bed' and 'cried' to sleep. They have filmed her 'sleeping' for a few minutes.
A 'cut' and then a shot of her waking up and turning her TV on. Suzuka'd followed everything on her script perfectly.
And then that was it for Suzuka's solo parts.
They would be filming Yuto's parts next.
They first filmed the part where one by one, the rock band and the 'vocalist,' Yuto got out the bus. They got an 'okay' at once. It was just a simple scene.
Next was Yuto's window scene. Yuto went to the window veranda through the room. The music played and he started singing, looking inside the bedroom.
A 'cut' and then a shot from the outside where Yuto duck.
And then Yuto's last solo part was climbing the veranda.
This was were they took several shots. Yuto just couldn't climb the way the director wants him to. But after a few takes, he finally got an'okay.'
They next filmed Yuto and Suzuka's parts together.
This were all window scenes.
The first scene, Suzuka had burst out laughing. Everything was going well but Suzuka just couldn't help but laughed at Yuto's expression. He was too serious, seeming on the verge of tears while holding up a paper with the words 'Whatever it takes, I'll do anything.'
But for the next take, they had managed to get an okay.
The second scene was just short. It was just Yuto holding up a bouquet of flowers outside the window for Suzuka.
And the last scene was mainly focused on Yuto 'begging' Suzuka to forgive him. Yuto was still outside, only seen through the window while Suzuka was inside the house.
After that they took a break.
It was already afternoon but Suzuka didn't really took notice of the time. They were having fun shooting.
Suzuka was surprised then to see Yamada with Mirai.
"Yama-chan! I didn't know you'll be dropping by." Suzuka greeted.
Yamada smiled at her. "Well, Yuto invited me to come. And I heard Mirai tag along as well, so here I am."
"Ryosuke, you're here!" Yuto said, coming back from his talk with Director-san.
"Yo, how's the filming?"
"Going well." Yuto said, smiling. "We'd be filming the night scenes next."
"Oh, before I forgot, I brought you food." Ryosuke said holding it up.
"Let me guess, Korean food?" Suzuka said.
"Of course it is. I'd finally have my own Korean restaurant, why would I buy from others?" Ryosuke said.
"Ryosuke, you've been buying Korean food even before you've had your restaurant." Mirai said.
Ryosuke just smiled sheepishly.
After their break, as Yuto said, they started filming night scenes.
They first filmed the crowd's part. Just a quick shot of the crowd 'cheering on' Yuto's 'band.'
And then another shot of the 'band' playing the song. The same as in the morning, three cameras were used but this time, it only took around three shots.
And then Yuto's parts.
The first they shot was just Yuto's feet walking by the front porch. In the ground were scattered red roses. It was a beautiful scene. But well, in the video they would only see the flowers and the feet.
The next scene was with walking forward with the stage as his background. Fireworks were shot and Yuto had made a gesture of 'catching' the fireworks.
It was a scene for the lyrics, 'I'd take the stars right out of the sky for you' in particular.
Suzuka, Mirai and Ryosuke were watching.
Mirai had made a comment, "Expensive fireworks as well, your jimusho is really filthy rich."
And unexpectedly, Ryosuke looked at her with a 'Eh?-Didn't-You-Know?'-Look. Suzuka didn't notice this though.
The next scene was with Yuto by the front door, kneeling and singing. It only took one shot. Yuto was really giving his best in this.
After that, they prepared for the last scene which was a scene with both Suzuka and Yuto.
Suzuka was instructed to go inside the house. The last scene would be of Suzuka finally opening the door for Yuto.
In the script, Yuto would say 'sorry' and Suzuka will nod and smile at him and then they'll hug.
Director-san had signaled a 'go' and Suzuka watch Yuto knock and kneel by the door. Another 'go' and Suzuka walked towards the door and slowly opened it.
Yuto stood up, looking at her and then he brought out a small box.
Smiling, he opened it and said the lyrics, "I'm the one thing meant for you. Do you agree? Will you marry me?"
Suzuka's heart leapt but it was clouded with confusion.
"Eh?" She looked at Director-san. "I'm sorry but this weren't in my script."
"Keep rolling!" She heard Yamada's voice.
Yuto chuckled. "Suzu-chan, this really isn't in the script. I'm serious, will you marry me?"
He said and then he kneeled in front of her. The whole crowd witnessing this errupted with cheers.
Unconsciouly, Suzuka's tears started flowing down.
"Y-yes... Yes, I'll marry you, Yuto." Suzuka managed to say.
Yuto stood up and kissed her.
And in her ears he sang, "Whatever it takes I'll do anything."
The crowd clapped their hands for the couple. Neither heard, though.
Suzuka hugged Yuto very very tight. She agrees.
'I'm the one thing meant for you and you for me.'
A month later, Suzuka watched their PV. It was better than she'd imagine. They got out the proposal part, but the kiss, the crying and the hug, they included. Suzuka was a bit embarassed.
According to Yamada, the producer for the PV was Yuto. He'd used up his saving for his PV - Proposal Video.
AN:
Lyrics of the song 'Anything' by The Calling:
I will be there
Always waiting
Waiting for you
To let me inside
Where your fire burns
In a city of angels
Just like a river rushing straight into the sea
I'm the one thing meant for you and you for me
[CHORUS:]
Whatever you want
Whatever you need
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
And as you sleep
Eyes to the window
I'm watching you dream
Well are you dreaming of me?
So why can't you see
You're all that matters
You know if this earth should crack
I'll be your solid ground
I will be there to catch you when you fall down
[CHORUS]
If I have to crawl
Get down on my knees
Whatever it takes, I'll go anything
I'd take the stars right out of the sky for you
I'd end the world give you the sun, the moon
For all of time, forever loving you
Whatever you need
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
If I have to crawl
Get down on my knees
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
If you want to see the 'video' it's here.
Just imagine it being OhgoJima and you'll kya. /whacked

"Y-yes... Yes, I'll marry you, Yuto." Suzuka managed to say.
Yuto stood up and kissed her.
And in her ears he sang, "Whatever it takes I'll do anything."
The crowd clapped their hands for the couple. Neither heard, though.
Suzuka hugged Yuto very very tight. She agrees.
'I'm the one thing meant for you and you for me.'
A month later, Suzuka watched their PV. It was better than she'd imagine. They got out the proposal part, but the kiss, the crying and the hug, they included. Suzuka was a bit embarassed.
According to Yamada, the producer for the PV was Yuto. He'd used up his saving for his PV - Proposal Video.
AN:
Lyrics of the song 'Anything' by The Calling:
I will be there
Always waiting
Waiting for you
To let me inside
Where your fire burns
In a city of angels
Just like a river rushing straight into the sea
I'm the one thing meant for you and you for me
[CHORUS:]
Whatever you want
Whatever you need
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
And as you sleep
Eyes to the window
I'm watching you dream
Well are you dreaming of me?
So why can't you see
You're all that matters
You know if this earth should crack
I'll be your solid ground
I will be there to catch you when you fall down
[CHORUS]
If I have to crawl
Get down on my knees
Whatever it takes, I'll go anything
I'd take the stars right out of the sky for you
I'd end the world give you the sun, the moon
For all of time, forever loving you
Whatever you need
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
If I have to crawl
Get down on my knees
Whatever it takes, I'll do anything
If you want to see the 'video' it's here.
Just imagine it being OhgoJima
